Memorial Day Weekend 2008
This Memorial Weekend like all Memorial weekends, we went camping up at Tropic Reservoir with a bunch of family and friends. This year however, was a little different. With the weather forecast not looking to great me and Matt decided it would probably be better for us to borrow a trailer instead of tenting it. WE could have borrowed a couple different trailers but I was a little hesitant on borrowing a "nice" trailer to go camping with three children when it was supposed to be raining. Luckily Rick(friend of ours) let us borrow his hunting trailer which was great. It was a 1978 trailer that is used for hunting and camping, Perfect! It really was, I was not so paranoid about ruining someones 40K toy hauler. So shelter was good and it was so nice to have a heater because it was freezing!! Seriously I think we spent the majority of the time around the campfire. It snowed every day but luckily it hardly stuck but it was still cold. The kids had lots of fun playing with everyone. So in all we had a really great weekend but it was nice to finally get home in our own beds.

looks like fun. i cant wait to take the boys camping. i think they would love it. i have awesome memories of all our famiy campinng/4 wheeling trips. its going to be a blast when we can start having them again with all of us and our kids!
What cute pictures! It looks like it was a lot of fun! The treasure hunt for the kids was a good idea. Caleb had fun looking at the pictures too.
I wish I was a little more like you! I hate camping and am dreading our camping trip with Garrett's fam next month. Garrett loves it and I think you poor thing you married a girl who hates it!
